As I child I knew about God, but did not develop a relationship with God until I started attending Dillman Church in 1995 while dating my wife Caryn. I have often wondered whether I would have developed a relationship with Christ without my wife. Caryn and I married in 1999 and currently are relying on God to help us raise five beautiful kids. If you have kids or work with kids, you know that God is relied on often to survive five kids every day.
I passed the CPA exam in 1999 and have been employed at Honegger, Ringger & Co. public accounting firm for 15 years where I am currently a partner in the firm. My work experience has provided the knowledge I need to properly handle the church financial records, prepare and monitor our budget, and make sure that Dillman Church is a good steward of God’s money.
I enjoy the relationships and church family we have at Dillman Church. I look forward to watching my kids along with the other kids grow in their relationship with Christ through the many kids programs offered at Dillman Church.
God has been a companion and focus of my life since I was a small child. Don and I were married in 1974 and have two grown married children that have blessed us with grandchildren. Our family started attending Dillman in 1999. Wherever we have been, since a young married adult, I have had the privilege to be involved in children’s ministries. Currently, I team teach Sunday School for the K – 2nd grade and teach the lesson for Circle of Friends.
I was a stay at home mom for 12 years. Completed my AS and BS degree in accounting at Indiana Wesleyan University and have worked as an accountant at two Christian organizations until retirement. I am thrilled that being retired doesn’t mean God is done with me yet.
God has great plans for Dillman and I am glad He is allowing me to be a part of it.
My husband and I, along with our four children, have been attending Dillman Church since 2011. The people at Dillman Church welcomed us and treated us like family. I have a passion for working with young children, especially when I can share God's love and truths. I am a teacher at Southern Wells Elementary School and enjoy being able to work with the same families at school and church. It allows me to build deeper relationships with them.
I became a Christian at the age of 7 at Vacation Bible School. My relationship with Christ grew tremendously during my teen years when I was involved in youth group, mission trips, and attending a Christian college. I felt God calling me to the mission field, not overseas, but in the public schools. As an adult I have learned that life is not always easy, but I seek strength in God's promises. "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11.
After retiring from 32 years of teaching high school and 35 years of Navy active duty and reserve service, God has called me to use my skills and experience for His service. My lifelong passion has been working with kids, which has included summer camps, youth groups and other venues. I currently lead our 4th-6th grade BUDs (Boys Under Development) program and the Youth Sunday School small group.
My wife Debbie and I have attended Dillman Church for over 10 years and enjoy being a part of this active community. We have both enjoyed serving in a variety of lay roles. In addition to the BUDs and Youth Sunday School, I also lead the worship team in our Sunday Morning Service and lead the Christian Education Ministry.
I am so thankful for the opportunity to be able to serve at Dillman Church. It is an exciting time of change for me, and I pray that God will lead us in His wisdom as we become “the People of God on the Mission of God".
I have been the Secretary at Dillman Church since January 2011. My husband, Ben, and I have been married over 25 years, and we are blessed with two beautiful daughters, Allyson and Lilly. God has given me a passion for serving in middle school youth ministries. Currently, I teach Girls of Grace on Wednesday nights. I am part of our Sunday morning Praise and Worship Team as well. I am excited to serve in whatever ways God will use me.
I am an undergraduate student at Taylor University where I am studying Christian Ministries and Biblical Literature. God nudged me to begin serving in youth ministry in 2015, and He called me to vocational ministry in 2016. God graciously opened the door in 2018 for me to begin serving the youth of Dillman Church through The Attic.
Aside from serving at Dillman, I love being outside in nature, whether it be fishing, hunting, hiking or playing sports. I play rugby for Taylor University, though I was a distance runner in high school. I also enjoy reading and learning.
Dillman Church is an amazing group of people, and I look forward to my time with the 7th-12th grade students each week. I am excited to witness firsthand the ways that God is working and will continue to work in the youth of Dillman!
