I joined Dillman Church in October 2013. I am a disciple-maker who is passionate about worship, building community, teaching God's word, and equipping others to demonstrate God’s love to the world through service. There is nothing I want more than to see us become the “People of God on the Mission of God”.
My wife and I were married in 1996 and have 2 children. I am committed to being the man, husband and father God desires me to be. Consequently, He has given me a heart for ministry to the family and calling men to authentic biblical manhood.
It is a privilege and a blessing to partner and serve with this vital and growing congregation. Come join us on our journey as we seek Him together!
After retiring from 32 years of teaching high school and 35 years of Navy active duty and reserve service, God has called me to use my skills and experience for His service. My lifelong passion has been working with kids, which has included summer camps, youth groups and other venues. I currently lead our 4th-6th grade BUDs (Boys Under Development) program and the Youth Sunday School small group.
My wife Debbie and I have attended Dillman Church for over 10 years and enjoy being a part of this active community. We have both enjoyed serving in a variety of lay roles. In addition to the BUDs and Youth Sunday School, I also lead the worship team in our Sunday Morning Service and lead the Christian Education Ministry.
I am so thankful for the opportunity to be able to serve at Dillman Church. It is an exciting time of change for me, and I pray that God will lead us in His wisdom as we become “the People of God on the Mission of God".
I am an undergraduate student at Taylor University where I am studying Christian Ministries and Biblical Literature. God nudged me to begin serving in youth ministry in 2015, and He called me to vocational ministry in 2016. God graciously opened the door in 2018 for me to begin serving the youth of Dillman Church through The Attic.
Aside from serving at Dillman, I love being outside in nature, whether it be fishing, hunting, hiking or playing sports. I play rugby for Taylor University, though I was a distance runner in high school. I also enjoy reading and learning.
Dillman Church is an amazing group of people, and I look forward to my time with the 7th-12th grade students each week. I am excited to witness firsthand the ways that God is working and will continue to work in the youth of Dillman!
I have been the Secretary at Dillman Church since January 2011. My husband, Ben, and I have been married over 25 years, and we are blessed with two beautiful daughters, Allyson and Lilly. God has given me a passion for serving in girls middle school youth ministries. Currently, I teach Girls of Grace on Wednesday nights. I am also part of the Sunday morning Praise and Worship Team. I am excited to serve in whatever ways God will use me.
